When the Brain Commits Disorderly Conduct

The definition of depression is one that tends to leave people with a sense of uncertainty.  Sometimes it leaves them asking themselves, “Am I just in a bad mood or am I suffering from clinical depression.  When speaking in terms of the medical community, it is important to know that the word depression has a specific meaning.

Depressive illness is very much like gloomy feelings.  Therefore if you are confused, there is a good excuse for you confusion.

Although depression can affect almost anyone, there are some people who still view depression as weakness.  This view is not even close to the truth.  Depression is not only a common ailment it is treatable.  A person who has experienced depression in the past is at risk for developing depression again.
